Beautiful Cizhou 磁州窯 bowl dating from Ming 明 dynasty, circa 1500-1600.
Stoneware, painted with sketchy floral design on the inside with beautiful flower in the centre, brown glaze and slip decorations on the outside.
Diameter: 18.5cm = 7.2 inches
Height: 8.5cm = 3.3 inches
Condition: visible marks of restorations done in few spots, also a hairline came out on the inside while cleaning it with damp cloth - something that previous owner has masked before selling it. The hairline is only visible on the inside and it will be quite easy to fix, here it is shown as it is due to honesty and our business ethics.
