Highly decorative Spanish majolica triangular inkwell.

Made in late 19th Century in the famous area of Talavera de la Reina in Carmen pottery founded by Juan Niveiro Page.

This inkwell most likely was made by Juna's son Emilio Niveiro Gil de Rozas at the end of the 19th C.

It is signed on the front and on underneath on the bottom.

Decorated with floral ornaments and animals on each side.

Condition: good, with minor chips of the glaze on the body, the lid was broken and glued back together.
